Absolutely! This program is designed to work in a complementary way with your other medical management programs. The magic really comes with leaving no stone unturned and many people find that the MoveWells strategy even improves how well the medications their doctors prescribed work!
No. I do not prescribe medications. MoveWells services work without the use of additional medications and each pillar of what we do together is supported by scientific evidence for improvement of migraine severity and/or frequency.
In your introduction session, we'll discuss your current concerns and goals. Together we will identify key areas that can be focused on and we will create a roadmap together to outline how you can improve the management of your migraines. We will also cover what to expect in subsequent sessions and how to access your support resources. This is a good opportunity to ask any questions and clarify anything you need.
No, MoveWells coaching is NOT physical therapy. Dr. Dylan Wells is a physical therapist as well as a personal trainer and health coach. These services are provided as coaching, which is an important distinction.
Dr. Wells does offer remote physical therapy services as well, but this is reserved for people with who need extra attention with multiple other underlying conditions. Dylan will make it exceedingly clear if you are initiating a physical therapy program.
Absolutely all 1-on-1 sessions are fully confidential unless otherwise stated.
Group Breakthrough Sessions are inherently not confidential because of the group nature of the call, though we encourage the utmost discretion in these group environments. If you feel that some information is too sensitive for a group setting, you can always share it privately with Dylan via direct message or email. Group chats and message boards are also not confidential as they are shared with the full Migraine Renaissance Collective. All private direct messaging with Dylan remains confidential unless you consent to sharing it.
