I've been working with Dylan for a couple months now and am loving the program he has set up for me. We meet every week for an hour or sometimes more and he has set up a personalized plan to treat my chronic migraines that can fit comfortably into my life. After only going to doctors for the past 20+ years with little success and a lot of frustration, it feel like a breath of fresh air to be working with someone who is taking such a wholistic approach, but who still has immense knowledge of brain science and the latest migraine research. I also really appreciate that Dylan speaks from a place of experience having had chronic migraines for years himself. One of my biggest triggers is physical activity which is hard for me because I love to play and be active and I have a relatively physical part time job. So far in the program I am working out consistently for the first time ever with a lot of success and in a way that doesn't trigger a migraine. Dylan has also helped me immensely with my sleep. The other huge thing I think this program has helped with is my general emotional outlook, I feel so much more capable and trusting in my body and hopeful about my migraines. I'm able to take a bad migraine day or week much more in stride without getting really down. Dylan has already greatly improved my quality of life while living with chronic migraines and I'm really excited to see how the migraines continue to improve and what else I'm able to gain in my life for the first time in many years. I think he is filling a need in how we approach chronic migraines that feels so right and effective and that wish everyone struggling with migraine had access to.
Although I've known Dylan for a few years before this past October, I didn't realize the scope of what he struggled with, was what I had dealt with for years as well. Migraines can disrupt your entire life, and I have dealt with them for a while, more prominent, severe, and ongoing since at least 2017, as far as I can recall. I've been on triptans, stuff like propranolol, and finally found one that really worked, but even with insurance was over $500 for 5 tablets, Nurtec. I have even taken stuff like flexorel to help...but all those meds still didn't really help. Even some of those meds made me feel worse than the migraines themselves. That's no life at all! When I reached out to Dylan, back in October, I honestly didn't realize he dealt with migraines for a while as well, and he had been working seeing what worked for him over the years, to help him to relieve the strain that migraines had on school, work, life, relationships. The amount of time lost that will never be gotten back. When we connected about the program, I was open to trying it out with him. The first couple of weeks, honestly were difficult getting the body used to the workouts. I haven't actually been to a gym since getting out of high-school, and even at home, never really worked out much...my job on a normal day was the workout. I have been working with Dylan doing the online meetings with him, discussing exercises not just for strength, but for mobility and flexibility. Sleep patterns, ways to mitigate stress, and healthier eating habits... we've been working together for about 16 weeks now. Some of my mobility issues have since regained that flexibility, most of the migraines I've had, since have diminished in severity, and frequency. From 3 to 4 severe migraine attacks a week, down to a mild 1 to 2 every couple of weeks. The other thing I also just realized, this past week, I haven't had to take prescription migraine medicine like Nurtec or Rizatriptan since about early December. Which is about 6 weeks or so after Dylan started working with me. I have full range of motion back in my shoulder. Do I still have bad days? Absolutely. But not as severe, and not as frequent. Is it difficult? Absolutely. But what's more difficult is not being able to live a full life because your migraines take over, prescription meds mess with your body to the point that you still can't function fully. Life passing you by because you're stuck in an endless cycle.
My therapist was Dylan Wells. He was so polite, positive and friendly. He became such a blessing to me because he knew just what to do to stop the pain in my arm that had been going numb and hurting horribly for months. He helped me when the Doctors couldn't. I kept going to him for a long time after that to keep working on strengthening my arm and working on other parts of myself that were hurting... This is the best physical therapy experience l've ever had!.. You won't be disappointed!!!
I was in a pretty bad car accident a little while back. Luckily I was able to find the best care possible led by Dylan and his team to include the front desk associates. The level of service and professionalism at this facility is beyond reproach! I would highly recommend Dylan and his entire team for any of your needs, regardless of the injury's impact. These guys have been absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend them. If there would be an option to give six stars versus five, I would certainly do so! Thanks guys for your amazing support!!!
I have been really amazed with my progress since starting PT...My goals in PT are to be able to do whatever activities I want, like progressing with weight training, going on backpacking trips, and biking around a national park without physical limitations. Dylan has helped me tremendously with areas of chronic weakness and pain. I told him early on that I'm a bit of a geek and I want to know whatever knowledge he can share with me to help me better understand and support my body and he has always taken time to educate me. I also was not expecting to have him solve my debilitating migraine and neck problems, which wasn't the initial reason I came in! Forever grateful for that!..
But this course is showing me I can be proactive and genuinely help myself live a better life, and try to reduce migraine days. For the first time, I feel empowered! The traditional healthcare system seems to just drop the ball with migraines.

This guy's helped me so much! I've never felt so healthy and fit in my life. He's put together an exercise programme for me that is really effective and I feel way stronger than I've ever been. I cook delicious, satiating food without depriving myself of the dishes I like (always in moderation). If you want to make a change, and you are willing to change yourself first and your perception about food and exercise, then I don't know what you are still waiting for...
